Myagdi. The Prativa Children’s Club has been reorganized in Shree Gau Bombast Secondary School, Malika municipality-5, Magardang.
Bipasha Siuthani has been elected as the chairperson of the 13-member club formed with the objective of all-round development of students, protection and promotion of child rights. Similarly, Safal Budha has been elected as vice president, Binisa Budha as secretary, Sital Pun as treasurer and Seema Fagami as joint secretary.
The members of the committee are Bhumika Fagami, Una Budhathoki, Sita BK, Ichcha Fagami, Rakhna Fagami, Sabi Siuthani, Vipisa Rana and Chetan Siuthani.
School principal Amrit Budhathoki informed that the school has done various creative works for the all-round development of the children. He said that meaningful participation of children was needed in every field as the activities carried out by children would be more effective on the issue of children. The children affiliated to the children’s club have decided to conduct programs including discussion on leadership development, capacity building and child rights, publication of monthly wall magazines including child creation, and cursorfile, said club president Vipasa Siuthani.
Secretary Binisa Budha informed that the meeting of the club today selected Amrit Budhathoki as the patron of the club, Deepak Acharya as the teacher in-charge and Buddhi Bahadur Rana as the head of the extracurricular activities department and Chet Bahadur GT as the advisor.
The club has planned to clean the school premises, cultivate the land and build a garden next Friday, said chairperson Bipasha Siuthani. The club coordinates timely training and collaboration activities.
